Spend Your Saturday Mornings at East Town Market at Cathedral Square

30 August 2018

Stop by Cathedral Square Park on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the East Town Market, offering fresh produce, locally made crafts, and gourmet foods. Nearly 100 Wisconsin vendors are there every week with fresh fare and specialty products for shoppers to browse and purchase. For a delicious pick-me-up, stop by Café Sol for various Costa Rican coffee blends brewed on-site. Another favorite is Sitka Salmon Shares, a boat-to-doorstep seafood company selling sustainably sourced salmon and other fish.

In addition to the food, beverages, and crafts, the market also hosts outdoor yoga, dance workouts, chef demos, and live entertainment. Both beginners and expert yogis are invited for free yoga sessions led by the Wisconsin Athletic Club. Also, be sure to stop by on the first Saturday of every month for Cate’s Kitchen Chef Demonstrations in which Cate shares delicious seasonal recipes using market-fresh produce. East Town Market at Cathedral Square is free and open to the public.
