Enjoy Sweet, Fresh-Baked Treats at Greige Patisserie

31 October 2018

Located in the historic building that once hosted the Ziegler Candy factory, Milwaukee's Greige Patisserie carries on the tradition of catering to the sweet tooth of local residents. Owner and operator Jessica Reinhardtsen was always inspired by Julia Child. As the driving force behind Greige, Reinhardtsen combines her passion for creating delicious pastries, cookies, tarts, and desserts with a deep love for her community.

Greige's custom cakes are likely the most celebrated products that this place offers, and have made delectable and beautiful centerpieces for countless weddings, retirements, anniversaries and birthdays among locals. But there are also smaller-scale treats on offer that you won't find at the average baking counter. Regulars recommend the strawberry hibiscus tart, blueberry thyme scone, or the salted caramel chocolate stout cake. You can pair your dessert with coffee or tea, of course, but you can also choose from an impressive selection of fine wines and tap cocktails prepared by local gem Bittercube.
